Both affordable and attractive, the Standard Sterling is a popular selection among our traditional wooden mantel surrounds. It has simple, clean details and dentil molding under the top shelf for extra character. The legs incorporate a decorative vertical fluting, as well. Paint grade mantels are a combination of MDF and solid poplar moldings. Also all mantels now include the raised up protective top trim. All stain grade mantels are made from a combination of hardwoods and veneers. Paint grade product is made from solid poplar moldings and MDF which can be primed and painted.
