The Quick Ship Highlander in two standard sizes is a traditional design fireplace wood mantel favorite with rosettes in the top corners. This mantel has rosettes and dentil molding adding to its colonial character. Paint grade mantels are a combination of MDF and solid poplar moldings and all mantels now have a raised up protective top trim. All stain grade mantels are made from a combination of hardwoods and veneers. Paint grade product is made from solid poplar moldings and MDF which can be primed and painted.
The custom Highlander is a traditional colonial fireplace wood mantel favorite with its rosette trim blocks in the corners where decorative ribbed molding meets. There is dentil molding under the mantel shelf, all a part of the design adding extra character. Paint grade unfinished mantels are a combination of MDF and solid poplar moldings. All mantels now include the raised up protective edge trim. A mantel with a return deeper than 6" is considered a cabinet mantel for covering deep facing or fireboxes that protrude into the room - any of our mantels can work. Need an overmantel? No problem.
